What a Beautiful Day for a Wedding

Over Thanksgiving break i was able to return home to be at my Aunt's Wedding. What a Beautiful day! Apart from the perfect weather, decorations, etc. what made this day so special was two amazing people, and their story of how God brought them both through extremely hard trials in their lives, eventually blessing them with the love they now share for each other.

Read at the wedding was Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope'". As was said at the Wedding, this verse has shown itself true in their relationship in such a unique and beautiful way. I have always loved this verse, perhaps for the hope that it does instill, and it was so refreshing to see God working in this way in the lives of two very special people.

Congratulations Dana and Rick! I am so happy for you, you both deserve the utmost happiness and love you have found in each other.

Just a few photos from the wedding here.

~so my eyes are leaking again, but what else is new...it really was a beautiful day with so many wonderful memories, from 'pumpkin pie' blizzard...Mac's 'bulldog' escorting service...Auntie Dana's smile...Pastor Jamie's 'rope' message...Paula's scripture reading (so glad she made it up there to share what God placed on her heart)
Zoey slamming the sand out of her jar...Nana & Papa(without them there wouldn't be us...what's one more eh dad?...lots of celebating to come)
...Nolan and Nevin (mini-put pros = a lot of kissing from the bride and groom)...Daddy emceeing (the dog joke was hilarious!!!)...Greg/Cindy's speeches (leaky faucet) Mac's (something about a shark or something haha)...Hannah (such a sweetie)...did I mention Aunt Dana's smile? oh and my favourite Rick dancing with his 90 years young mother (no mascara left at this point)~ thanks so much for capturing some amazing photos...so blessed to have you home and share all these memories with you

I will pay you for your services. I am glad you flew home..........and shared our special day.Sorry that Kyle couldn't come. It meant so much to us to have our families and friends there..........as everyone was there for us during our 'hard times'........we wanted them to be there for the 'good time'!!!! Hense the reason we didn't take off and elope. This was definately much funner!!!! We are very blessed......and never take anything for granted. Can't wait to see you at Christmas. Take care..........and keep blogging!!! Love Auntie Dana and Uncle Rick P.S...........I have passed your site along to others........hope that's ok.
